Free the spine – 23 mins
This flow class will help to release the muscles surrounding the spine. Jo is passionate about keeping the mid section of our bodies flexible, yet strong. She will take you on an expressive journey of your body.
This session will ease any stiffness from the muscles surrounding the spine. In order to gain strength, we need to work on our flexibility too.
Let yourself be immersed in this class and just move with Jo. A great class to do in conjunction with ‘Radiating from our centre’.
Bottoms up – 17 mins
Jo always thinks our bottoms should be stronger! She feels everyone, particularly women going through menopause, would benefit from working their gluteals. With strong buttocks we can help alleviate lower back pain, improve our posture and fix imbalances within the hip region.
Within this session, Jo will challenge you with some varied exercises targeting our bottoms. As we enter menopause, we can lose some muscle mass. Jo aims to counteract this with some strong but effective exercises. So – bottoms up!
Strong, strengthen & stretch – 20 mins
This class is a strong one. Sometimes the symptoms of menopause are hot flushes, so why not sweat anyway!
It is also really important to weight bear, in order to help alleviate the onset of osteoporosis, which occurs due to the lowering of oestrogen, during the menopause.
Jo will challenge and uplift your spirits in this class. Build up to the routine if you need to, or, just go for it!
Primary flow – 20 mins
In this class Jo will guide you through an elegant, beautiful, gentle flow routine that will work the whole of your body.
Sometimes we can be feeling a little tired or low during menopause and so this session will help you to release endorphins, a group of hormones secreted in the brain, which trigger positive feelings. By the end of this session, you will feel more uplifted, both in mind and body.

Radiate from your centre – 23 mins
Sometimes during perimenopause or menopause we can put a little weight on or ‘ thicken around the middle’. This is commonly termed menopause belly fat. This class targets the abdominal region.
Jo is always keen to work the mid section, so she dedicates this session to a varied array of exercises targeting your middle.
You can do all the exercises shown, or select just a few, depending on how you are feeling on your particular exercise day. Some are more challenging than others so just do what you are able.
Pull up a chair – 20 mins
Sometimes our balance can be compromised and so on some days, we might want to work a different way to normal.
This session uses the chair throughout. If the ‘Standing and balance’ class is too tough for you right now, then pull up a chair, to give you support, so that are alignments are not compromised. This is a fun but challenging class.
Standing and balance – 20 mins
This class involves free standing exercises targeting both the upper and lower body. A mixture of exercises is important to challenge our strength, endurance and flexibility. Having good balance is important for many activities, such as walking and going up or down the stairs.
During menopause we can experience a drop in bone density, due to falling levels of oestrogen, and so it is really important to do weight bearing exercises. Jo has developed this class to balance and weight bear, helping us to sustain muscle mass and strength.

Join Jo on your mat and experience some of her favourite exercises that she teaches on a regular basis.
This session will both challenge and uplift you and incorporates all the exercises that help us through menopause, from weight bearing exercises, to ones that concentrate on reducing that naturally occurring belly fat.

Spread your wings – 18 mins
Our arms are an extension of our bodies and so Jo has choreographed exercises to challenge our bodies, purely using our arms.
This session incorporates a variety of exercises, involving, standing, sitting and laying flat. They will all challenge you.
Move freely as a bird!
Release and relax – 21 mins
During this class, you will experience beautiful release and relaxing exercises. Anxiety and low mood can be symptoms of the menopause and so within this class Jo invites you to be kind to yourself and rid your mind and body of tension.
If you are not feeling energetic and wish to be guided supportively by Jo, then this is the class for you. Because of its wonderful relaxing nature, this class works perfectly at the end of a different session.
