I cannot recommend Jo enough.
I have been on the search for the holy grail of exercise for so long, something that you really love and that really makes a difference to how you look and feel, I know I have finally found it.
I look better, leaner and more toned than I ever have, despite endless gyms, yoga, barre, HIIT and A LOT of other things.
She is inspirational, without being intimidating and I laugh a lot and I look forward to every single class.
Don’t hesitate if you are thinking of joining. You won’t regret it for a second.
I just wanted to drop you a message to say I love your workouts.
I moved to Copenhagen a few years ago and have not found a Pilates instructor that I really like.
I really enjoy your sessions and love your down to earth and accessible teaching style, which is not always easy to find,. It’s like working out with a friend and its great that I can do them anywhere in the world.
I have done your sessions with my mum back in the UK and it is a credit to your instruction that the workouts are suited to all levels – the half an hour really whizzes by.

I just can’t sing your praises enough. After 26 years of boring classes – just going and doing (as that’s what you have to do), I’ve finally found my happy place and love doing classes again!
It’s my one year anniversary with the workout family today!
I can’t thank you enough for everything you do, and I can’t believe how different I am to a year ago. I’m so much stronger physically and mentally. I can even do the planks and side planks now, woo hoo!
For someone who hated exercise all of her life, I can’t believe how excited I get for each new workout that you post, and how good I feel after.
Jo has turned my commitment to exercise around.
I have always done yoga and gym work but found sticking to any sort of exercise class a real struggle because I would always get bored. Not with Jo!!
She has kept me completely transfixed and dedicated, not only because every class is different but also because she always makes me laugh. Honestly, I love her so much. And now, since she has organised us into dipping into exercise every day, I am keeping to that too!
Another little secret weapon she uses, is keeping her classes to a half hour which is so much easier to commit to! I get ‘Tuffried’ every morning and can even stay in my pyjamas!

There are so many to chose from , you can never get bored & as Jo says your body needs to be guessing all the time.

I have been doing pilates for the last 15 years but have found anything online very underwhelming, until yours.

I’ve just started your Tone with Tuffrey programe and I find you way of teaching so informative. I’ve experienced teachers who even in a face to face class don’t describe what you need to do / how things should feel very well. You’re great at that!

30 minutes every day and I have lost nearly a stone and a half and feel generally fitter and stronger. I have dropped down from a size 14 to a size 10 and am so proud of it.

I’ve been working from home since March and live by myself.
Jo’s bubbly, warm personality and daily workouts have kept me going, kept me sane and I’m getting stronger and fitter!

I joined in the summer and must say I’ve never lasted this long with any other class.
It fits into my life with my family. I alternate these classes with running. I used to have weak glutes (runners nightmare). No more!

I used to find exercising a chore but I’m loving it even though the plank one was tough.
I’ve now finished the fantastic free Wednesday workouts, I’m so excited to have just signed up to start the weekly workouts with you!
I really wish I’d found you at the start of lockdown, you could have helped my stress levels and weight gain I’m sure!! …. anyway as they say better late than never!! I can’t wait to get started!!
I started doing your workouts during lock down and then joined the program. They have given me purpose during a strange time and I appreciate how good your teaching is ( I am a physio).

Really appreciated this hip mobility class – very helpful teaching and stretches which will have long term benefits. Didn’t mind less movement today as I’ve been repeating the circuits from Monday (wow!) and it is nice that you do varied classes and we learn from you.

I’ve had so many aches, pains and stiffness developing over the years which are now getting better.
I have also had a few compliments from people saying I look trimmer which is amazing.

Thanks so much for that Jo! I slipped a disk a few years back and being an ex-gymnast – crikey! – you really opened my eyes as to how I stand on a daily basis – I’m so arched its unbelieveable.
It’s hard work holding yourself properly – it aches – but I’m going to keep going thanks again real eye opener xx
I am loving the classes so much already that I have actually stopped my other classes and quit the gym entirely.
I love the fact that I can do a 30 minute session if I’m pushed for time or an hour if I really want to sweat! (the cardio is a great addition too, although i really have to push myself to do cardio because its not my favourite! 😊).

Ive been a member now for about 8 weeks, I’ve never really enjoyed any forms of exercise but I’m really enjoying your classes. – I think I’m getting addicted!
I try to do at least 3 hours a week. You really make the classes fun & enjoyable & I’ve recommended you to all my friends.
I heard about you from This Morning with Philip and Holly and thought it would be a good idea to join.
I’m 23 and have a bad back and shoulders and I’m more comfortable exercising in my own home than the gym so was excited to give this a go!
I’m really enjoying the exercises already and look forward to the months to come.
Today was my first time doing your pilates class. I used to workout a lot after I had my first child, but I would struggle with what to do and I wouldn’t feel as if I worked my body hard enough. Now I’ve joined your Workout Club, it’s a game changer!

I love the way you make each video positive and achievable, no yelling and “you must work harder comments” as I have experienced in so many gym classes!
I’m enjoying strengthening my core, as I am very weak in that area and this can cause some back ache. I’m excited and very much looking forward to the variety of exercises that are coming in your new videos.
These workouts make me feel like Jo is in my living room with me – which I love – as I find her to be such an inspiring and positive influence.
I am not a self-motivator but find these short, punchy sessions fit well into my busy life as a mother of 3 – just enough time to get a great workout without feeling guilty about taking too much time out for myself.
I am loving the variety of a new session each week, which I am sure will encourage me to do more. Plus who wouldn’t want a body like Jo’s!
I absolutely love the courses & do one of the workouts at least 4 times a week.
I love the variety & different levels, I choose the workout that fits how I’m feeling on that particular day. I usually finish with Serenity Stretch or the Release & Relax.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you for your Weekly Workouts.
I’ve been living in Germany for the past 18 months and have been struggling a bit.
Your workouts are PERFECT and I’ve even talked my husband into joining me too. You’ve made a huge difference to my day here.
I had saved one of the new classes to do this morning and was merrily working away with you when I nearly fell off my mat in astonishment at the sound of my name!
I was just so touched, and then I had to stop the video and rewind to make sure I hadn’t been dreaming, and then I had to wake my husband to show him, and then I had to rewind and film that bit to send a video to the children to show them I was actually very famous and important.
It is very lovely to have two new classes every week, it’s motivating, it keeps it all fresh and it’s exciting to see what will be in it. I still love the other classes and will do those in between.
I hope your regular class folk know how lucky they are! I’m sure they do…!
You create inspiration by constantly varying the content and have the imagination to bring interesting and new thoughts time and time again making it fun and a healthy way to fitness.

Jo is an extraordinary person … she exudes positivity and calm, she is only ever encouraging, she is fun loving and has a wicked sense of humour; she is someone who makes you feel good about yourself even when everything else around you might feel like its going south; she is a breath of fresh air.
Her classes are totally brilliant – no two classes are ever the same – her dedication to her work is immeasurable – she puts her everything into her classes; the choreography is superb (just wish we could all look like Jo when we’re doing these exercises).
She is a total inspiration.
I have been meaning to do Week 2 November all day and have only just got round to it. I was worried it would be too much after having my first ever acupuncture treatment today (a desperate attempt to help migraines) but it was perfect stretch and relax.
Couldn’t have been a better session from you. Looking forward to a bit more exertion next week though. Thanks Jo. You are such a fab person. Lucky lucky people who have you for their actual live weekly classes!
Jo is an excellent teacher. She is always happy, kind and cheerful, and encourages me to improve with fun and ingenuity.

I love the fact that you mix up your left and right as this is the main stumbling block for me when I’m doing boxing training, which can result in unfortunate outcomes and quite a lot of hilarity.

Your sheer joy of doing the job whilst understanding people’s personal needs, wobbles (mental and physical!!), your empathy, compassion and great skills all shine through and make one want to join in with you and be in the room.
I really enjoy your analogies. Not only do they make me laugh but I can see exactly what you are trying to say – yes, I can be “a flamingo on one leg pointing my long neck and beak to the sky”, got it!
Quite frankly I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
I’ve experienced good and bad teachers/lecturers/team leaders and, in my opinion, those that have the extra something are the ones that you remember and want to emulate. You’ve nailed it!
Thanks to Jo, exercise has become an (almost!) daily habit. I’m going into my later 60s with confidence that Pilates will help keep me physically and mentally strong.
Over the years I’ve have tried the gym, yoga, running and swimming to stay fit. Pilates with Jo is the only thing I’ve ever stuck at for all the above reasons.
Your instructions and demonstrations are precise, and you communicate clearly.
You are descriptive about how the body works, and which parts of the anatomy are affected by each exercise.
You have a great sense of humour.
You always provide variation in your classes which are carefully planned out, and as a result all areas of the body are worked on.
Most importantly you are a lovely person who is totally enthused by her profession.
It would be easy to continually recycle what you teach but your classes are always fresh and varied. We never know what to expect. I know this must involve a lot of work behind the scenes but it is appreciated. You must spend a lot of time choreographing which hasn’t passed me by.
Your classes have transformed me and I can never thank you enough for that.
Miss your live classes, but in some ways these are even better, you can fit them in at a time that’s right for you.

I used to go to Pilates classes at the gym with various instructors who I thought at the time were good … however you knock spots off of all of them!
I religiously do your work outs, doing different ones, depending on how I feel and what kind of day I’ve had at work and I get quite grumpy if I miss a day!
I love all of them and have definitely noticed a difference in my shape including my bye bye arms lol … keep your workouts coming – love them!
I’m now 58 & in the best shape I’ve been in for years, mostly thanks to you! I love all the workouts & do them every day.

You are right, it was like bad medicine. The burn I felt on my glutes and the outside of my hips was perfect. Especially with running, I know I need to keep that strong for stabilization, as you said.
