Jo’s 4 Week Summer Fit Programme

Get yourself summer ready with this 4 week programme, targeting the whole body in various ways, to keep you moving and motivated. Pilates at the core and so much more – the programme features pilates, yoga, cardio and weights workouts to work your body in all the ways it needs.

Each week Jo has devised a full body workout, each day there is a different 30 minute class – that’s 20 classes for just £20. You can follow the programme and add to it if you’d like from her archive of over 400 classes. You will have full access to her workout club for a month on top of the designated 4 week programme. All Jo’s workouts are designed to improve, strength, stamina and suppleness. Some classes use weights, if you do not have them then water bottles, cans or tins can be used to substitute.

Your week 1 schedule

Monday: 6 x 4 Circuits
A fast paced circuits class to really get you moving. 45 seconds 6 x 4. No equipment needed.

Tuesday: Abs & Arms
A strong 10 x 3 class targeting the abs and arms. Weights needed

Wednesday: All About the Legs
A strong lower body, 10 x 3 circuit, 10 exercises with 3 rounds. Weights optional

Thursday: Biceps & Triceps
A hardcore 10 x 3 class focussing on the biceps and triceps. Weights needed.

Friday – Sunday: Release The Neck
An educational class focusing on stretching out the neck. No equipment needed

Your week 2 schedule

Monday: Full Body Flow
A lovely full body flow class. Listening to our bodies and enjoying moving.

Tuesday: Back & Biceps
A very strong weights class for the back and the biceps. Weights needed..

Wednesday: 20 Bums
A bum class using bodyweight and 20 different moves. Take this class away with you to get that bum pert for the beach! No equipment needed.

Thursday: Chest & Triceps
A very strong upper body class. Challenging the chest and the triceps. Weights needed..

Friday – Sunday: Open Up & Stretch
A strong challenging stretch class, that will leave you feeling fabulous! No equipment needed.

Your week 3 schedule

Monday: 5,4,3,2,1 Bodyweight
A full body class, using my 5,4,3,2,1 method. Great to take away with you as no equipment needed.

Tuesday: Cardio Core
A super high energy, high impact cardio class, with some aerobics moves popped in! No equipment needed.

Wednesday: Obliques, Obliques, Obliques
Get ready to work the waist and feel the burn! Weights needed.

Thursday: Arms & Shoulders
A strong upper body class targeting the arms and shoulders. Weights needed

Friday – Sunday: Shoot For The Stars
A soothing stretch class, opening up the chest and heart centre, No equipment needed.

Your week 4 schedule

Monday: 10 x 3 Arms
An upper body class where I do 10 exercises for 3 rounds focussing on the arms. Prepare to feel the burn! Weights needed.

Tuesday: 20 x Abs
A focused Abs circuit, 20 exercises with two rounds. One small weight optional.(in a good way).

Wednesday: ABC #21
Strong class targeting the arms bottom and centre, all floor based exercises. Weights needed.

Thursday: Press On It
A unique full body class using your own bodyweight to add resistance. No equipment needed.

Friday – Sunday: Cold Roller
Release any tension and swelling with this full body cold roller class. Great for planta fasciitis. You will need a large (1.5 litre) and a small (35 cl) plastic water bottle that you have frozen and potentially a towel.

About your trainer – Jo Tuffrey

Jo Tuffrey is an expert fitness, pilates and yoga instructor.

Jo qualified with a BEd (Hons) in Physical Education in 1995 from Carnegie in Leeds and started teaching PE in a prestigious Secondary School in London specialising in gymnastics and dance. At the same time she developed a PT business at Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre.

In 2000 she stopped teaching PE to pursue her passion for pilates and that year qualified with Body Control Pilates. Since then she has established a successful career maintaining her enthusiasm and devotion towards health and well-being.

In January 2019, Jo started to release online fitness classes. She’s not looked back, after helping thousands of people to enjoy exercising again.
