Jo’s 4 Week Summer Fit Programme

Get yourself summer ready with this 4 week programme, targeting the whole body in various ways, to keep you moving and motivated. Pilates at the core and so much more – the programme features pilates, yoga, cardio and weights workouts to work your body in all the ways it needs.

Each week Jo has devised a full body workout, each day there is a different 30 minute class – that’s 20 classes for just £20. You can follow the programme and add to it if you’d like from her archive of over 400 classes. You will have full access to her workout club for a month on top of the designated 4 week programme. All Jo’s workouts are designed to improve, strength, stamina and suppleness. Some classes use weights, if you do not have them then water bottles, cans or tins can be used to substitute.

Your week 1 schedule

Monday: 10 x 3 Bodyweight
A full body, bodyweight 10 x 3 class. Get in, get out! No equipment needed.

Tuesday: Trim The Waist #2
A targeted class focussing on all of the waist muscles. No equipment needed.

Wednesday: Bottom Blast #3
Feel the burn with this bootylicious bottom class. No equipment needed – great to take away with you.

Thursday: Arms, Arms, Arms
A very strong arm and shoulder class. Small weights to really get in and work all the arm muscles. Small weights needed.

Friday – Sunday: Back Posture
A really important postural exercise class to strengthen the mid back to enhance your posture. Jo has her teacher mode on for this educational class. No equipment

Your week 2 schedule

Monday: Back & Biceps #2
A very strong weights class for the back and the biceps. Weights needed.

Tuesday: Cardio Core #4
Get moving with this low impact cardio core class. A full body cardio class with a focus on the core. No equipment needed

Wednesday: Chest & Triceps
A very strong upper body class. Challenging the chest and the triceps. Weights needed.

Thursday: Free The Spine #2
An educational class to release the spine and sooth and aches and pains. No equipment needed.

Inside / Outside Thigh #4
A strong leg work out, to work the inside, outside and front of thighs. No equipment needed.

Your week 3 schedule

Monday: Heavy Weight Full Body
A very strong full body, heavy weights class – overloading the muscles. Weights needed.

Tuesday: Ab Attack #4
Working the abs in all the ways, transverse, obliques, inverse, rectus abdominis – upper and lower. No equipment needed.

Wednesday: Stretch & Lengthen
A lovely full body stretch class – lengthening and soothing the body. No equipment needed.

Thursday: The 100 Method
A strong full body class using 100 repetitive movements per exercise to really tone and sculpt the body. No equipment needed.

Friday – Sunday: Cardio Core #7
A super high energy, high impact cardio class, with some aerobics moves popped in! No equipment needed.

Your week 4 schedule

Monday: 10 x 3 Leg Weights
A strong leg class with weights, 10 exercises for 3 rounds. Weights needed

Tuesday: Obliques, Obliques, Obliques
Get ready to work the waist and feel the burn! Weights needed.

Wednesday: 10 x 3 Arm Weights
A strong arm class with weights, 10 exercises for 3 rounds. Weights needed

Thursday: Full Body Tapping
A new style of choreography, using little taps and body weight for a full body workout. A good one to take away with you as can be done anywhere. No equipment needed.

Friday – Sunday: Stop & Stretch
Take a moment to stop and stretch. A full body stretch class holding poses to really lengthen the muscles

About your trainer – Jo Tuffrey

Jo Tuffrey is an expert fitness, pilates and yoga instructor.

Jo qualified with a BEd (Hons) in Physical Education in 1995 from Carnegie in Leeds and started teaching PE in a prestigious Secondary School in London specialising in gymnastics and dance. At the same time she developed a PT business at Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre.

In 2000 she stopped teaching PE to pursue her passion for pilates and that year qualified with Body Control Pilates. Since then she has established a successful career maintaining her enthusiasm and devotion towards health and well-being.

In January 2019, Jo started to release online fitness classes. She’s not looked back, after helping thousands of people to enjoy exercising again.
